Practical AI training, grounded in real work

Applied Intelligence Africa was built around a simple principle: training only matters if people can use what they have learned when they return to work.

Our programmes combine clear instruction, practical demonstrations and hands-on application. Participants are encouraged to work with real tasks, test what AI can and cannot do, check the quality of the result and understand where human judgement still needs to lead.

Experience that shapes the training

Training informed by real-world delivery
AIA’s training is led by Mbongeni Gumede, Chief AI Trainer.

Mbongeni Gumede

Chief AI Trainer

Mbongeni’s career has included client-facing, project, operational and commercial environments where success depends on understanding the brief, working with different stakeholders, managing competing priorities and turning ideas into work that can actually be delivered.

That experience shapes the way he approaches AI training.

The focus is not on technical language or showing people as many tools as possible. It is on helping people understand the capability in front of them, connect it to the work they already do and use it with greater confidence, efficiency and judgement.
